1. Where is my cooking data stored?
All cooking information is stored in the free meat°it app that you can download from the Apple or the Play stores. The app lets you record your favorite cooking programs so as to be able to launch them at any time.
2. Where can I find updates to the meat°it app?
You will find all updates for the app directly on the application, the Apple store and the Play store.
3. Can I use meat°it for several different meat cuts without reprogramming?
The settings are different, especially depending on the type of meat and the desired cooking level; core temperatures also differ. For perfect results, we recommend that you enter a new cooking program on the meat°it app.
4. Do I have to create an account to use the application?
To simplify the app’s use, we have created an “easy mode” that offers limited functions. If you want to access all the app’s functions, you do have to create an account. Here is the list of functions that cannot be accessed from the easy mode: your cooking history, your favorites, the timer, the stopwatch, recipes, photo sharing, customer service, personalized alerts and the Wi-Fi extension.

6. How do I know if meat°it is fully charged?
After installing batteries in the docking station, the probe requires charging for 90 minutes in order to be fully charged. We recommend you replace the probe in the docking station after each use.
7. What do the LEDs indicate?
Two different LEDs are on the docking station:
a. Blue LED
– When flashing, Bluetooth is activated and searching for connection.
– When solid, the probe is connected to the docking station and the station to the telephone.
b. Green LED
– Solid: the probe is off the station; the docking station should be turned on.
8. How do I remove the meat without burning myself?
To avoid any burns, we have provided the docking station with an extractor key. The key ensures that you can remove the probe safely.
9. Which Bluetooth is compatible with the meat°it probe?
The meat°it probe is compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and above; it is compatible with most Bluetooth devices.
10. What is the purpose of the docking station?
The docking station lets you store, protect and recharge the probe. We have also included a Bluetooth relay in the docking station to extend the range up to 197 feet/60 meters.
11. How do I restart the meat°it probe?
Nothing could be simpler: when you are finished using meat°it, you just replace the probe in its docking station to restart it.
12. Is the probe waterproof?
The probe is not designed to be waterproof; it is however splash-proof and withstands drops and spatters.
13. Where should I put my phone while cooking so that it remains connected to the probe?
To ensure optimal operation and make sure it doesn’t disconnect during cooking, the phone should be next to the docking station. The telephone should not be further than 98 feet/30 meters from the docking station.
14. What should I do if the probe disconnects during the cooking process?
If this kind of problem crops up, the probe is programmed to reconnect automatically.
15. What type of batteries does the meat°it probe require?
The docking station requires AAA batteries to charge the meat°it probe; batteries are provided with the probe.
16. What application should I download to use my cooking probe?
For Apple users: you will find the meat°it app for both connected cooking probes at the Apple Store: meat°it and meat°it +. For Android users: if you have just bought a meat°it or meat°it+ probe, you will find the meat°it app for both connected cooking probes on the Google Play Store. For Android users: if you have already downloaded the meat°it app, we are resetting the app for technical reasons. We ask you to delete the current app installed on your Android devices and to download the new meat°it+ version from the Google Play Store.
